He gained further notice appearing in epic fantasy, historical, and adventure films, notably as Will Turner in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. In 2009, Bloom was named a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. In 2015 he received the BAFTABritannia Humanitarian Award.

  • Bloom went through drama school assuming that he would be a stage actor. His first audition for Legolas was his first time seeing himself on screen. Orlando was “devastated” to see himself since the screen offered a better avenue for judging his own acting.

  • Bloom became a UNICEF ambassador in 2009 and credits his work with the organization for his optimism. Bloom’s work included visiting Nigeria in the aftermath of Boko Haram attacks: “The rest of the world is Disneyland relative to what some people are going through.”

TOM HIDDLESTON was born on 9 February 1981 and he is an English actor. He is the recipient of several accolades, including a Golden Globe Award and a Laurence Olivier Award, in addition to nominations for two Primetime Emmy Awards and a Tony Award.

He is set to reprise his role as Loki in the upcoming Disney+ miniseries Loki.

  • Hiddleston plays the role of Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The brother to Thor, Loki has a rather ambiguous moral code, but Hiddleston plays him with great verve. However, Hiddleston actually hoped to land the role of Thor when he tried out for the film, and even bulked up for the audition. Director Kenneth Branagh decided he was better as the brother.

SINGERS:

ARIANA GRANDE was born on June 26, 1993 and she is an American singer and actress. She has received numerous accolades throughout her career. She rose to fame for her role as Cat Valentine in the Nickelodeon television series Victorious (2010–2013) and Sam & Cat (2013–2014).

She is also the most streamed female artist on Spotify and Apple Music,[5][6][7] while being currently the most followed solo female artist on the former and YouTube. She has been included on Time's annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world. Aside from music, Grande has used her platform to advocate for gender, racial, and LGBT equality. She has been the most followed woman on Instagram since 2019.

  • In 2010, Grande had to correct a fan who mistakenly thought she was Latina. “I’m actually Italian,” the singer wrote on Twitter. She revealed that her family comes from two parts of Italy: Abruzzo and Sicily.

  • Before Grande became a household name, she followed a similar path of many hopeful singers these days: posting videos of cover performances on YouTube. Among the songs she covered were Rihanna’s “Love the Way You Lie” and Bruno Mars’ “Grenade.” When Grande eventually met Mars for the first time, she said she freaked out.

  • Grande showed off her Italian roots by recording a powerhouse operatic duet with Andrea Bocelli in 2015. The song, “E Píu Ti Penso,” became a No. 1 hit on Billboard’s classical music chart. The performance was included on Bocelli’s album “Cinema.”

DUA LIPA was born on 22 August 1995 and she is an English singer and songwriter. After working as a model, she signed with Warner Bros.

Her 2018 single "One Kiss" with Calvin Harris peaked at number one in the UK and became the longest-running number-one single for a female artist in 2018.

Her 2019 single "Don't Start Now" peaked at number two in the UK and US, and number four on the US Hot 100 year-end chart. It would become the most successful 2020 song by a female artist in the US. The single "Levitating" (2020) peaked in the top-five in the US and UK.

  • Dua moved out of her family home in Kosovo to London, to pursue her career in music. “The cooking and the cleaning… that was tough,” Dua told NME last year. “Stuff like that really made me grow up before my time.”

  • When Dua was eleven years old she wanted to join her school choir but was told by her teacher that she couldn’t sing. She’s now a multi-platinum singer, so it’s fair to say Dua won that round.

  • Dua Lipa was born in London, England, the eldest child of Kosovo Albanian parents . Her family is of Muslim heritage.
